Chantelle Stean is a Wales-based artist creating luminous atmospheric abstract landscapes in oil and cold wax. Her work explores remembered places rather than observed ones, drawing on weather, water, distance, and the quiet emotional resonance of land- scape. Through layered surfaces and concealed light, she creates paintings that balance mystery and familiarity, where atmosphere carries memory and viewers are invited to complete the story for themselves.
